Lambswool is the wool from a lamb’s first shearing (usually before seven months) and is softer than adult sheep wool. It closely resembles cashmere and is almost as soft and luxurious.Â

The scarf is beautiful and was a much appreciated gift. The only negative is that I ordered it 3 months in advance and after my “need by” date came and went, I had to contact the seller to find out when it would arrive. It barely made it in time to give as a birthday gift.
