Outlander Poly/Viscose Face Masks are handmade in the USA from fabric woven in Scotland. The Fraser tartan for Outlander consists of grey, brown, gold, red, and black, with brown and grey being the dominant colors of the pattern. These neutral tones imitate the stone and vegetation of the Scottish Highlands in winter. Fans will recognize this tartan as the one Jamie wears on his wedding day. The Outlander tartan is a grey and brown tartan. The tartan is similar to the Outlander Fraser tartan but lacks the red, black, and brown accent colors. Both tartan patterns are an excellent complement to events in forests, mountains, or other natural settings.

My review is based on my experience with my physical characteristics.
Mask is layered to a comfortable thickness for protection while still being able to breath.
Elastic ear loops not so tight to cut into you when being worn.
Top of face mask a bendable wire so the mask can be confirmed to your face for better fit, comfort and protection.
If…IF…anything could be better, it would (may)be a pocket flap for adding a filter if desired.

Soft mask I wish I knew about the extenders that’s the only neg thing to say. I would get them again with the extenders. Customer service was right on top of it when my one mask went missing in the mail. They were kind enough to send me another one.

Great masks! Fun, and comfortable, however, it would be even better if you made them in different sizes. My hubby is a big guy and the one size fits all doesn’t fit his face. Also the elastic earloops don’t work with hearing aids. If you made some with the over-the-head elastic that would be fantabulous!

I love these masks! For reference I purchased the pleated version without the extended ear loops. The material is thick but not heavy making it very breathable & not any hotter to wear than any of my other masks. This was important to me since I work for a big box retailer taking orders out to people’s vehicles & ‘mask sweat’ is a constant. I’m not a fan of ear loops even though these were plenty loose enough to not pull on my ears while still keeping the mask secure. I simply modified it myself by cutting them off & sewing on some bias tape ribbon to make ties for the top & bottom. Shipping time was far faster than I expected which was another plus. I will definitely be purchasing from Celtic Croft again!
