Description
Poly/Viscose (Wool Free) Tartan Scarf
Once associated with Paul Bunyan and lumberjacks, it became the unofficial plaid of Christmas. Although the name buffalo plaid might trick you into thinking it’s an American invention, do a little digging and you’ll find that the buffalo plaid is actually the MacGregor Red and Black pattern. In Scotland, the pattern is associated with the folk hero Rob Roy MacGregor and the pattern there is often referred to simply as the Rob Roy.
Whether you are allergic or sensitive to wool, you don’t need to sacrifice style! This lightweight poly/viscose tartan is woven in the UK and then made in the USA. The poly/viscose blend is wool-free but still has the feel and appearance of wool.
This is a subtle way to display your heritage or add a Scottish feel to any outfit. It measures approximately 10 inches x 72 inches, but sizes will vary from scarf to scarf.
