Tartan Trews 13oz

Even when the weather turns cold, you can still wear your tartan with pride! These tartan trews are made with 100% new 13oz medium weight wool to keep you comfortable even on cold winter days. Plus, with nearly 200 tartans to choose from, you can be sure that you can find one to fit your needs and show off your family heritage. 

With custom-made items, you don’t need to worry about whether they will fit—they are literally made just for you! Of course, that does take a bit of extra time, so please allow 6-12 weeks for delivery, as they are coming all the way from Scotland! Please note that suspenders are needed for these trews.

Measurements:

Waist: Measure around where you are going to wear the pants.

Hip: Measure around the largest part of the hip.

Outside Leg: Including waistband: From waist to bottom of pant.

Inside Leg: From crotch to bottom of pant.

We recommend a great kilt for Renaissance Festivals since they date back to at least the 16th century. In addition, you can wear an ancient kilt, which will be cooler and more practical in hot weather than a great kilt. Our third historic kilt is a phillabeg, which translates to “little kilt”. It most closely resemble a modern kilt. The lack of extra fabric makes it the most practical and comfortable in hot weather.
