Description
CD — Saor Patrol — Two Headed Dog
Saor Patrol (pronounced ‘shore’ comes from the Gaelic word —Saorsa, meaning freedom / liberty). From Central Scotland and Fife, Saor Patrol and their unique style bring the sounds of the past into the present. With great bag-piping, tribal drumming, and roaring guitars, they create a powerful, visceral sound! The Saor Patrol was created to fund the building of a medieval village called Duncarron. The idea behind Duncarron is to provide an arena in which groups, individuals and school parties can experience the atmosphere of an authentic, medieval, and working community. It is located in the Carron Valley forest on the border of North Lanarkshire. A very cool band with a great sound, we think you will love them!

Why Purchase a CD When I Can Stream for Free?
The Celtic Croft has a wide selection of Scottish, Irish, and Celtic music CDs. We’re discontinuing many of them, so get one while it lasts! The way we listen to music has changed greatly within the past 20 years. Music streaming not only had a huge negative impact on professional musicians in the earlier years of music pirating, it continues to make it difficult for musicians to make a living. Even though free streaming apps pay artists, they often get only a fraction of a penny for each listen. By purchasing one of our CDs, you directly support your favorite Celtic, Scottish, and Irish musicians.
