  • Fine-quality, knee-high black leather boots; approximately 18 inches high
  • Leather is soft, sturdy, and durable — crafted for all-day wear at a festival or event
  • Sizes 5-13 available in whole sizes. They wear a bit larger, so if you typically wear a half-size, these should do the trick
  • Pair with an ancient-style or modern kilt, the hiking-boot insole is the only deviation from a traditional Renaissance-style black leather boot

We try to keep these in stock, but if your size is out of stock please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

Black Premium Leather Knee-High Boots

These knee-high black leather boots offer all the quality of a custom-made Renaissance-festival boot without the typical markup. Enjoy the comfort and durability for all-day wear while remaining true to the Renaissance-style; the only difference is the hiking-boot insole, but we’re sure you won’t mind the added comfort! While sizes 5-13 are available, these elegant leather boots tend to wear a bit larger, so give them a try!

Additionally, for the larger-calved Celtic festival patron, these boots feature a unique lace-up split-side design providing added flexibility in the calves, as well as an easy-on, easy-off experience. We’re sure you’re going to love them – but if you don’t, we’re happy to provide a full refund, minus shipping.

Love the look and received many compliments during a local Ren Faire! That said the leather could be softer but that can be worked with and they are hard to lace and keep snug around the foot. I did find that Leather laces held better and were easier on my hands as I snugged up the laces. Great boots and a great price! Friendly informative help and the fastest delivery I have seen in ages! Highly recommend!

Not too bad so far…I have “caveman” feet, so I ordered a larger size. I’ve worn them around the house to get use to the fit, and I have to admit that it isn’t too bad.
If this first pair works out, I will probably order a second pair later on.

Good boots. I wear an 8 1/2 and chose the size 8 (only available in whole sizes). The right boot is ever so slightly too small, but I can have the boot stretched out a little to accommodate. I’ll be changing the buttons out with antler buttons for a more rustic look and changing the laces to leather laces as well. Lastly add a pair of insoles for support and they should be set up nicely.

For the price they are worth it. Sizing tends to run big and I would not try to climb a mountain in them, but they look great with my kilt.

Very happy with the quality. The size 9 boots are the right length for my size 9 foot, no surprise there. However they are a bit roomy in the foot. No problem. I just added a footbed (like Dr Scholls) and the fit is now great.

I like the fit alright, at least so far – a little loose for a woman’s ankles – but I think the soles are not a hiking sole but a work sole, and they are VERY heavy! I am going to have to take them to a shoe repair person and get them replaced before I can wear them very much. Thank goodness the soles are replaceable!

Rub a little on the anckle, but am very pleased with the look & over-all feel.
