Pewter Luckenbooth Thistle Brooch

The luckenbooth symbol dates back to 17th century Scotland, originating with the luckenbooths, where trinkets and jewelry like this would be sold. The luckenbooth symbol features a heart, crown, and hands, representing love, loyalty, and friendship, respectively. This brooch features the luckenbooth symbol nestled into the world-famous Scottish thistle symbol, denoting bravery and courage, a great gift for anyone near and dear to your heart.

Metalworkers make each brooch from solid, polished pewter, measuring 1.5 inches wide at its widest point. You will love the fine detailing, the deep symbolism behind it, and the excellent quality craftsmanship!

This pin is wonderful! Fantastic detailing and great quality! I can’t wait to give it to my best friend who recently got married. (Yes, I know, the groom should have given it to her but it’s a tradition I know she’ll love given her Scottish roots.) I can’t wait to watch her pass this down to her children!

I have wanted this pin for at least 5 years, but kept procrastinating. I really LOVE it! It is so beautiful. Being of Scotch-Irish
descent, I have many Celtic interesting objects. Symbols and jewelry, but this Luckenbooth Thistle Brooch has to be one of my favorites. Thank you.
