Woven from a 65/35 polyester and viscose blend, this fabric is soft, breathable, washable, and hard-wearing—ideal for kilts, sashes, décor, and accessories.
One of the most iconic patterns available in this blend is the famous red-and-black Rob Roy MacGregor (Buffalo Plaid)—once worn by the legendary Rob Roy and later immortalized in North American folklore. Today, this bold pattern is as at home in Christmas décor as it is on the Highland battlefield.
This medium-weight (11/12oz.) tartan features a twill weave and measures 60 inches wide. While it doesn't have kilting selvages and will require hemming for kiltmaking, it offers an excellent combination of tradition, practicality, and price.
