Celtic Thistle Top Pewter Kilt Pin
Celebrate one of Scotland’s most enduring symbols with the Thistle Top Pewter Kilt Pin. Alongside tartan, the thistle is instantly recognizable as a national emblem of Scotland, adopted during the reign of Alexander III (1249–1286). According to legend, a barefoot Norse invader stepped on a thistle while attempting a night raid, his cry of pain alerting the Scottish clansmen and saving Scotland from conquest. Since then, the thistle has stood as a proud symbol of protection and resilience.
Handcrafted in Canada by skilled Celtic jewelry and accessory makers, this pewter kilt pin measures approximately 3.25 inches by 1.25 inches. Strong enough to secure a kilt, yet refined enough to serve as a decorative brooch, it makes a versatile accessory that pairs heritage with function. Whether worn with Highland dress, on a scarf, or as a lapel pin, this thistle design embodies Scottish pride and tradition.

Handsome Kilt Pin
I have a pewter lapel pin that I want to attach to the kilt pin. I'm glad that I made the choice of the this kilt pin, it compliments the lapel pin!. My next step is getting it to the jeweler to get it attached.
