I bought this pewter luckenbooth brooch as a mate to the sterling silver luckenbooth necklace (also here at the Celtic Croft) I purchased my wife to wear in a Scottish themed wedding. It may be pewter, but the gloss and shine is an excellent match for the necklace. I was a little concerned about the different metals, but they look great together. It also has a nice weight to it, but it isn't too big. The set in total was also very affordable for the quality. I strongly recommend both items.

My husband gave me this when we got engraved. I wore it at our wedding and pinned it to my daughter's blanket as an infant for our family pictures. I can't wait to pass it down to her some day.
