My order was shipped the next day, and I got it a few days later. The advice to get the "next size up" if you wear a half size was spot on. The boots fit great, and feel comfortable when walking around the house. I'll know this weekend how comfortable they are after hours of standing and walking around outside. Good quality, good service, and good price. I'm a satisfied customer. A minor complaint: I, too, broke a lace when first putting on the boot. I gave a light tug to snug up the lace and it broke. No big deal, as I was planning to buy a roll of lace anyway, but a little disconcerting when a lace breaks on the first fitting.

I made sure I read previous reviews, and because of that I order the correct size for my foot. These boots are super comfortable! The only downside is that for me anyway it is difficult to lace them up. Great quality at an affordable price!

Nice pair of boots for a very good price. They will be perfect for the Texas Ren. fest. They are very comfortable. I ordered 1 size larger then what I normally wear. They fit fine.

I wear a size 10 wide normally. I ordered these in size 11. The width is perfect. The toes are nearly perfect, also. I am 6' tall with a 30" inseam, the tops of the boots come to about 1" below my knee. I bought them for my renn faire costume but they are so comfortable I might wear them under blue jeans from time to time.
