While shipping was excellent the laces broke as I was lacing up one boot. Just the action of threading the laces had frayed them enough to break with just a little added tension (not even 1/4 the tension I would use to tighten regular laces). The boot seems to be ok, but I won't be wearing them without laces.

The item was shipped promptly, my having received them in less than 7 days without requesting expedited shipping. The boots are quite durable, and the flat soles are quite useful should you engage in physical activity such as dancing. The boots are a rather snug fit, so I would suggest getting the next size up so as to make it easier for you to get in/out of them. The leather is quality material, and by comparison to other boots you most assuredly get your money's worth! The only major thing to note is that because they're suede you need to make sure you clean them regularly so as to prevent a deterioration in color, and avoid getting them wet as water will get through.
