Fantastic boot. Sturdy and well made. These are the real deal, not some cheap knockoff, and at a great price. The fit is exhalant, very comfortable, not to mention they look good too. I plan on doing some hiking on the Isle of Skye, in Scotland, and these boots will be perfect for that task, worn, of course, with my utility kilt.

Just purchased, and these feel like great quality boots! I work and live at a renaissance faire for about 3-4 months out of the year, so I shall return in due time to update my review! I wear a size 12.5 and wide, I ordered the 12. I agree with other opinions that these do run a size or a half size large. They fit my feet beautifully, though. See you soon with my full-time use review!

These are some great looking, well-made boots that will compliment any medieval outfit. However, if you're a LARPer like myself be aware that after a long day of walking your feet may start to hate you. For me, they definitely caused some minor blistering after 1.5 days of walking even after I added some arch support insoles. I'd still take them on a walk through a Ren Faire for a day and they really do look spectacular...but for long stretches, have some plan of action for making the insides a lot more cushion-y.

Okay! So! My wife order the boots. She wants boots for the winter. Received the pkg on time. I opened the pkg and I said: "This are some boots". Got on the website and I was impressed. I like those kilts. I want one, for the next time I'm going for a competitive run. Anyway, my wife saw the boots and she didn't like them anymore. Contact the company. The owner responds. She is very polite and nice after I told her the reason we are returning the boots. Once she received them in the mail, we got reimburse. So, yeah. I'm impressed. When I'll be able, I'm getting that kilt for my run.
