Each kilt is made from 4–6 yards of our signature homespun wool-blend tartan (55/45 polyester & wool). With machine-stitched pleats, a fully lined interior, and three adjustable straps and buckles, this kilt looks and wears like much pricier kilts. Includes belt loops for pairing with your favorite kilt belt, and optional matching flashes and kilt hanger are available to complete your kit.

This is my 3rd kilt from Celtic Croft. As I neared retirement, my weight shot up so I purchased a larger kilt to get away from kilt extenders. Then I retired and dropped that extra weight I gained when closing down my business. I purchased their homespun in a tartan I did not have as a temporary kilt. Now, weight stabilized for years, I bought one to fit and use for the St Patrick’s day parade this Saturday, the highland games and other casual events including tartan day until I can find a seamstress to move the buckles on my older dress kilt. The choice of homespun and 13 ounce wool tartans worked well for me. I’ve also been able to pass on the other now larger kilts to other worthy Scots in my clan family.
