Basic Sporran Chain Strap
Looking for a no-frills sporran strap that simply gets the job done? This basic chain strap is made from decent-quality leather or leather-like material—quality and texture may vary slightly based on supplier availability. While some may be genuine leather and others synthetic, all are functional and ready to wear.
Designed to fit up to approximately a 46-inch waist, this strap is “one size fits most.” For smaller waist sizes (under about 40 inches), you may need to adjust the length by moving the snap hooks or removing a few chain links—easily done with a pair of needle-nose pliers. (Pro tip: keep the extra chain handy in case of future "kilt shrinkage.")
