Description
Traditional Sgian Dubh Colored Gem Top
Our standard sgian dubh is surprisingly good for the price, and this one is even better! The blade is high-quality stainless steel, 3 1/2″ long. It comes with a sharp, usable edge.
Plastic handle and sheath, with chrome plated, metal mounts. The fit and finish is very good. While the “gem” is still plastic, it is better quality than our standard standard sgian dubh.
- Affordable and Decent Quality
- High-Quality Stainless Steel
- 3.5″ Long Blade
- Sharp, Usable Edge
- 7.25″ Overall Length

Very satisfied with the Sgian Dubh on order #1077889. Still waiting for delivery of Irish Coat of Arms Plaid Brooch on order #1077581.

Perfect for crossing into Canada and risking one of my good sgian dubhs being confiscated at the border. Canada’s knife laws are somewhat ambiguous and subject to customs inspector’s whims. My son is getting married in Banff next month. I doubt that many people will closely inspect my knee. It’s a bit cheesy, but OK for a product made in China, perfect for my use when buried in the top of my hose.

I recently purchased this for my cousin. Last year it was a kilt for the highland games, this year a basic sgian dubh. For the price it is an excellent piece that adds to proper dress. As a plus, not only did I like how it looked, but he absolutely loves it. In the same situation I would certainly buy another.

I bought this for my 13 yr old son who has been playing the snare drum with a pipe band for a year now. He loved it and thought it was “cool” to wear with his uniform.

Good price for a simple item

For an attractive sgian dubh, this one is good for the price. My only complaint is that the knife does not fit as snugly as it should in the scabbard.
