I purchased this set of hose in Ochre, which is a rare color for kilt hose to begin with. I naturally have larger calves and always have to purchase the XL sized hose when ordering your standard make of hose, which usually results in the heel of the hose sticking out of my ghillies since the foot on XL is made larger, but so are the calves! In purchasing this wide calf style of kilt hose, I didn’t have that problem! These are quite comfortable and the array of colors gives you lots of options for pairing with all sorts of different tartans! I particularly love how the Ochre looks with my Rob Roy Film Tartan Great Kilt!

I bought the Ochre hose, which are difficult to find. They fit well and were comfortable. One thing that I should note, I do not have particularly large calves, and these fit fine, which I was hoping. It is the knit that allows them to expand at the calf, which is great for those with larger calves. Just in case others were wondering.
