I just received my kilt and tried it on. It fits great, and if I do say so myself, the solid black looks dashing. I am wearing it to a black tie college re-union and it will be perfect. The fabric is light, looks good and lays well where the pleats are. The kilt has all the details of a more expensive kilt. I live in San Diego, so the weight of this fabric means I can wear it all year long. The standard, heavy, full wool kilt is too heavy and cumbersome for our climate anyway. Overall, I am very pleased.

I wore this kilt for about 8 hours at PA Celtic Fling, very comfortable, and at the low price, I wasn't worried about spilling beer on it. I bought the Night watch because it reminds me of Terry Pratchett's book "Night Watch"
