Wrought Iron Penannular Brooch – 3 Inch Celtic Brooch | OUTLANDER Style
This wrought iron penannular brooch—also known as a Celtic brooch—is a timeless accessory rooted in history as far back as 600 AD. Traditionally used to fasten fly plaids, great kilts, or the aprons of ancient kilts, this brooch is both functional and historically accurate.
You may recognize it as similar to the one Jamie Fraser wears in OUTLANDER, but it’s more than just a costume piece. Hand-forged from wrought iron, each brooch has a unique, rustic finish and is sturdy enough to secure even the heaviest fabrics. Its practical, minimal design makes it suitable for daily wear or your next Renaissance Fair or Highland gathering.
Whether you’re putting together a casual Highland outfit or an authentic historical costume, this 3-inch brooch makes a bold statement while keeping your look secure.

Cool Brooch
This is really a neat brooch. It kind of has a classical, almost ancient Mediterranean look to it. Based on a design that perhaps was brought over to the Celtic tribes from the Romans? All speculation on the roots of the design, but it's a cool piece that I think would go well with both Celtic or Classical Greek/Roman attire.
