About the Fabric:
Our homespun tartan is woven by hand on old-world looms for an authentic, historic look. The yarn is worsted but not spun or woven as tightly as modern machine-made tartan, giving it a softer, more rustic feel. Minor weaving irregularities such as small snags or pulls are normal and add to its character.
How to Measure for Your Kilt:

Waist: Measure at the navel (traditional kilt waist). For a casual fit, measure at your pants waist. For formal occasions — especially if you carry more weight at the midsection — measure slightly above the navel to help the kilt stay in place.

Hips: Measure at the fullest point (usually 6–8 inches below the waist).

Length: Measure from waist (kilt or pants waist as chosen) to the middle of the knee.
Have someone assist you — bending even slightly while measuring can alter the result.
